Tyler Barth is an executive at Transom Capital Group, a private equity firm based in Los Angeles, California. Tyler leads business development for Transom and directs the bizdev-related activities of its portfolio companies.
At Blue Microphones, one of Transom’s first acquisitions, Tyler has been instrumental in the company’s growth. During that time Tyler has developed key strategic partnerships with Apple, Intel, Esquire Magazine, American Idol, CBS, Virgin America, Live Nation, Fender and MySpace. Tyler is also responsible for creating The Blue MOB, Blue Microphones Artist Community and handles all entertainment related activities
Prior to Transom, Barth launched Robert Tyler Management, an entertainment consulting and brand management company located in Copenhagen, Denmark and Beverly Hills, California. At Robert Tyler Management, Tyler built entertainment brand strategies for Giorgio Armani, The Viper Room, Music Export Denmark, Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, Budweiser, Ocean Tomo and Neutrogena. Tyler started his career in entertainment at Creative Artists Agency, where he worked with John Ptak, Head of the International Department and Bryan Lourd, Managing Partner of CAA.
Tyler graduated from the University of Colorado at Boulder, majoring in Marketing. Currently, Tyler actively volunteers with The Orangewood Children’s Foundation, The Prostate Cancer Foundation, Children’s Hospital, and Vista Del Mar. He is an avid sports fan and attends live music events regularly.
