Davis Inghram Bio
Davis Inghram’s music and life touched many people. As a gifted musician, writer, producer and artist, he demonstrated a passion for music at a very early age. He was an accomplished pianist who won the National Federation of Music’s competition for a song he composed. This song was published into sheet music and recorded on two albums. Davis performed and wrote music and lyrics for his schools, church, friends, a variety of artists, and film. Much of Davis’ work was published, and while still in high school, he became a voting member of the Recording Academy (Grammy’s). After graduating high school, Davis was admitted to NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music. Through the Tisch-Clive Davis school, he continued to write and produce music while learning from the best song writers, producers and artists in the music industry.
A Message From Bruce and Teresa Inghram
As Davis’ parents, it was sheer joy to watch him explore, develop, and fully pursue his love for music. He spent countless hours writing and producing music. Songs appeared to emerge from deep inside him. Davis heard melody in colors, in people, and in the world around him. He didn’t need an audience. He enjoyed performing and partnering with other artists as well.
On February 4, 2012, Davis left this life and is now making music with his Father in heaven. Through your contributions, we will continue Davis’ legacy and provide resources and access to aspiring artists, giving them an opportunity to pursue their dreams. Your donations will provide scholarships, musical instruments, and seed funding for a new center that will allow children to explore and develop their musical talents.
The Bridge Music Foundation is a trusted and reputable music non-profit organization. Their goals are aligned with our desire to develop aspiring artists and we are partnering with them to oversee and manage donations given in Davis’ memory.
